Frequent Questions

How do I register my child for the shibir?

If you haven't registered your child yet, please do so as registration is required. Visit our registration page or contact us for details.

Can my child give a presentation at the shibir?

If your child is interested in presenting but is not listed as a presenter, please inform us by June 5th. The topic must be relevant to the shibir's theme.

Is the shibir available to children/youth living abroad?

Yes, while we do not plan to live broadcast the event, secured access will be provided to watch sessions later. Registration must be completed before February 28th, 2026.

What about accommodations?

What are the safety guidelines for children?

Children must be accompanied by an assigned adult. Parents will attend a meeting in May before the shibir for safety guidelines and overview.

Can adults with no participating child attend the shibir?

Yes, but priority is for children, youth, and parents. Other adults can attend if they are willing to volunteer for seva.

How can young adults contribute?

We need young volunteers. Encourage them to participate and assist in various activities during the shibir.

What are the singing activity guidelines?

Participants should prepare Wani or Bhajans aligned with the theme 'I am Sundersath'. Finalize your list by February 28th, 2026 and bring instruments if needed.

How can I contribute $$ Seva for the Shibir or weekly classes?

Financial contributions are welcomed from all Sundersath, whether participating or not.

Is there a dress code?

There is no strict dress code, but participants are encouraged to dress comfortably and respectfully.

What should parents know about safety and security?

The facility is safe, but parents should supervise children during free time, outdoor activities, and outings.

Are kids allowed to explore Pocono with their parents?

Children must attend the full program schedule. Exploration is allowed after program hours.
